So, Should You Use Nomad Internet?
Okay, okay, okay — I had to think of something for this. As a digital nomad, I am. My internet connection was giving me trouble lately. I travel a lot and visit a lot of isolated and rural towns around the United States, so occasionally things became so bad that I was unable to connect to the internet for almost a week.
What do you think? One of my clients has left me. At that point, I made the decision to find a long-term solution to this issue. I utilized online forums, friends for advice, and the internet to search up information. Nomad Internet was suggested to me by a friend.
When I originally looked into this internet provider firm on Google, I only found one negative review, which made me dubious. However, after doing some research, I found a lot more positive reviews.
I finally thought, “The heck, let’s do it once,” after doing all of the reading and research. Let’s observe what happens. I thus purchased their Wi-Fi modem online from their website.
The news that they provide Nomad Air Modems — customized Wi-Fi modems for digital nomads — shook me. The modem cost me $249.95, and I also paid $149.95 a month for a 200 mb/s Wi-Fi internet subscription.
The next day, I received my Wi-Fi modem, and the service was really speedy. Because the service offers a self-installation option, installation was straightforward.
However, the magic I was expecting has not yet materialized. The moment I established a Wi-Fi modem connection, everything moved quickly. The internet speed met the specified expectations. There was also Wi-Fi 6 technology present.
It maintained its ability to establish connections with up to 128 devices.
However, surprise! I went specifically to test it in the isolated place where I had previously had trouble getting online for seven days in a row. The outcomes were astounding.
Not only was the internet speeding along like a bullet train, but I was also able to access it through the modem.
I was not able to ask for more.
Thus, my response to a request for a review of the Wi-Fi modems offered by Nomad Internet would have been, “Go for it.”
In addition, I have seen that some individuals have been critical of their customer service on the internet. I have no idea if it’s fake or not. I also got in touch with their customer support in case something went wrong later on because I no longer trust internet reviews. They helped me out and responded right away.
Therefore, everything about Nomad Internet is great in my opinion.
